Jessica is a RYT 500 https://yogaalliance.org/ and Certified Children’s Yoga Ed. Instructor Grades K-8 http://www.yogaed.com/. She has Bachelors Degrees in English and Environmental Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison http://www.wisc.edu/ and has been practicing Yoga since 2004.
Jessica immediately fell in love with Yoga after experiencing a connection to Self unlike any other. She began teaching Yoga in 2005 after completing her 200-Hour Sampoorna (Hatha) Yoga Teacher Certification Course with Shri Yogi Hari of the Sivananda Lineage (http://www.yogihari.com/). After graduation, Jessica continued her studies in a yearlong apprenticeship (2005-2006) with John Wigand at One Thousand Petals Yoga Studio in Spring Green, WI.
Jessica completed her 500-Hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification Course in India, January-February 2010, at the Himalayan Institute’s Allahabad Campus, and is a member of the Himalayan Institute Teachers Association http://www.himalayaninstitute.org/.
Founded by Shri Swami Rama of the Himalayas, the Himalayan Institute is overseen by Spiritual Head Pandit Rajmani Tigunait, and is extremely dedicated to the authentic, traditional Practices and Preservation of Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Tantra and Spiritual Wisdom. Jessica is honored to study with Rolf Solvik, Sandra Anderson, DC Ram and Sarah Goddard.

Jessica’s classes are playful, spiritual, and sweaty, promoting inner awareness, power, expansion and growth. Jessica encourages Yoga Practitioners to find their edge, breathe into it, honor it, and explore the potential of Possibility that lies beyond it.
Jessica spends much of her time in the Ocean; swimming, stand up paddle boarding and learning to surf! She enjoys biking, hiking, swimming, and sharing Life with her husband, and their two dogs. She is passionate about protecting Mother Earth and enjoys sunsets, forests, waterfalls, moon bathing and laughter.
